Scarf

I saw a very pretty scarf on a blog once, and decided to make one for myself...without a pattern. :) I think it turned out pretty nice. Your thoughts? :)

Here's the pattern I made for it. This should be a treat for any of you, who (like me) either hate having to decipher knitting patterns, or else have no idea how. It's in a "normal" sort of pattern--like short hand sentences. Following??? :) Great, enjoy!

(Knit loosely)
Cast on 15 stitches, knit 3 rows, then (on the fourth row) knit 5 stitches, take in 1 stitch, finish row. (Fifth row now) Knit 7 stitches, pearl 2 stitches, knit normally the rest of the row. (Sixth row) Knit 5 stitches, take in 1 stitch, finish row. (Seventh row) Knit 7 stitches, pearl 2 stitches, finish row normal knit. (Eighth row) Knit 5 stitches, take in 1 stitch, finish row. (Ninth row) Knit six stitches, pearl 2 stitches , finish row in normal knit. (Tenth row) Knit 4 stitches, take in 1 stitch, finish row. (Eleventh row) Knit six stitches, pearl 2 stitches, finish row in normal knit. (Twelfth row) Knit 1 row. (Thirteenth row) Knit 1 stitch, take in 1 stitch, knit 3 stitches, pearl 2 stitches, finish row in normal knit. (Fourteenth) Knit 1 row. (Fifteenth) Knit 5 stitches, pearl 2 stitches, finish row in normal knit. Repeat till two rows before desired length is acquired. Then knit 2 rows and cast off. Place buttons in desired spots and sew on. The buttons should fit through the loose knit.

I used very thick yarn, and size 17 Needles. :)
