Thank you, Lord, for turkeys,
And crisp apple pies.
Thank you, Lord, for late nights,
And jars to catch the fireflies.

Thank you, Lord, for company,
And laughing and grins.
Thank you, Lord for life,
With all its whirls and spins.

Thank you, Lord, for family,
And grey, cloudy skies.
Thank you, Lord, for friends
Who are always a surprise.

Thank You, Lord, for this Thanksgiving,
And this life worth living.
