Sabbath | Mariah | Photoshoot

A cool breeze blows upon the day,

The time to cast all cares away,

Trees chorusing in the gusting wind,

Here is rest, here is joy to stay,

Here resides the peaceful hours,

From dawn til dusk on Sabbath Day.

 I love the Lord's Day, the time to cast all our worldly worries away and bask in the sunlight of God's grace, resting in his unchanging love and joy. This past Sunday our family had the wonderful pleasure of having some friends over for the afternoon and evening after church. The weather was beautiful, the breezes cool and quiet, and everyone was happy. My friend Mariah and I were able to slip away for a little while and have a photo-shoot around our backwoods. We had a lot of fun, and here are some of the pictures.

Mariah's a farmer girl and she felt right at home on our tractor. :)

After a while, Mariah insisted on taking some pictures of me.
