- Favorite summer activity? 
Hm... I'd have to say soccer or Frisbee or swimming. Don't make me narrow it down more than that. ;)

- What is your favorite activity / sport for any time of the year?
Haha, soccer and Frisbee again. I love sports in general.

- How many animals do you own?
Our family owns two dogs, a cow and soon some puppies (one of our dogs is pregnant :D .)

- How many siblings do you have?
Five. Two brothers and three sisters.

- What is your favorite color?
Oh dear. I guess I'm not very decisive today, because I'd have to say blue, green or black. And I really love burgundy/coffee hues. I hate to just choose one.

- What is your favorite kind of animal?
Panda bear. Always has been. :) I love large cats like panthers and lynx's, too, though. 

- Favorite season?
Autumn.

- Favorite books?
That's a very hard question to answer! I'd have to say The Ascendance Trilogy (It. Was. Amazing.), Percy Jackson and the Olympians, the Fablehaven books, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Swamp Rat, and Around the World in Eighty Days. 

- Favorite movies?
Another hard one! Let's see... The Return of the King, the Bourne movies, Pirates of the Caribbean, any Hitchcock film, The Proposal, and Tv shows like Psych, Merlin, Heroes and Monk.

- What do you do in your free time?
Read, write, make music videos, create disasters, play pranks, and go on ATV rides. I also watch a lot of movies. :)

- What is your dream career?
Dream career is being a published writer. It's probably been that since I was ten or so. ;D

Alright... 11 facts about me...
Um... I used to be a My-Little-Pony fanatic years ago, and owned, like, 20. 
I love ice skating.
Science is my hated enemy (which is really hard, when I want to be a science-fiction writer. :P)
The words "Shatter" and "Cascade" give me shivers every time I hear or read them.
I want to name one of my future kids Aspen.
Imagine Dragons is my favorite band.
I really, really, really can't (like, mentally cannot bring myself to) eat any food that is over three days old; and leftover rice is my arch nemesis. 
I took the online quiz for "Which Disney song are you" and the first time I got Make a Man Out of You and the second time I got Be Our Guest.
I can't stand pancakes.
I don't own an iPad, iPod or iPhone or mac device of any kind.
And, um... My favorite candy is Reese's and Sweet-tarts.

Now, Q and A:

1. Do you like Tangled or Frozen more?

Tangled, hands down. I loved Frozen and it was cool (if you'll excuse the pun), but Tangled was awesome. :)

2. What's your favorite genre of book?

It's a toss-up between Sci-Fi and Fantasy. (Though Fantasy may win by a little bit...)

3. Mocha Frappucino or peppermint tea?

Well, I've never had a Mocha Frappecino and only had peppermint tea once, years ago. So I really wouldn't know. 

4. Are you....Dauntless, Erudite, Candor, Amity, or Abnegation?

Wow. I had to look this one up because I haven't actually read the Divergent series. I guess... Candor? I mean, I like to think that I'm a little of all of them, but I guess Candor would probably be the most prominent... maybe?

5. What's an ideal Friday night in your opinion?

Either a good movie with good friends, a good board game with my family, or a good book with ice cream and classical music. :)

6. Favorite tv show?

NOOOOO! You can't ask that question! I love lots, though, if I had to pick just one it would be BBC's Merlin. But I also like Grimm, Once Upon a Time, Arrow, Agents of Shield, Castle and Psych. 

7. Would you rather be a french fry or peanut butter sandwich?  Think hard before you answer.

A peanut butter sandwich, because the first thing that comes to mind is a loving mother making it for her child. A french fry and all I can think of is a McDonald's cardboard cup full of them in the gutter in the road. 

8. What is your greatest talent?

Um...

Procrastinating. 

9. Which duo are you and your best friend (be honest) most like:

11. Imagine you're in the Hunger Games.  Which of these are you most likely to do:

A. Kill everyone at the cornucopia.

B. Go berry-picking.

C. Find a way to escape the games (sort of like Katniss does in the end of Catching Fire)

D. Disguise yourself as a tree and chillax at the river.

E. Duck-face at all the cameras in the arena and hope you get sponsors.

F. Fall off the pedestal early and meet an early fate. 

C. I would probably die in the attempt and never actually accomplish it, but I would still try. Chillaxing would be my second choice. :)

1. Do you like rainy days, or hot sunny days? 
Definitely rainy. I like sunny days, but not hot sunny days.

2. Do you prefer clothes shopping or accessory shopping? 
Clothes. Defs.

3. What is your favorite movie? 
NO! Not this question! I can't answer that! The closest I can get to answering that is to say BBC's Merlin is my favorite TV show. Sorry. Can't answer other than that...

4. Is your hair curly/straight/wavy?
Straight. Very straight.

5. What date is your birthday?

July 10

6. Do you like road trips?
Nope!

7. Do you prefer swimming in the ocean, or collecting shells?

Swimming. Even is I look like a zombie when my mascara smears. Or a raccoon. 

8. Do you dread or look forward to bedtime?
Both, if that can be an answer? I love sleeping, but I'm a night owl...ish.

Blue.

Depends on the dance... I can do the Hoe-down Throw-down like nobody's business and took folk dancing for four years...

Uh... It really depends on the situation. I cry at TV shows more than I cry at movies. But, I've only actually cried (not just teared-up) at one movie (Courageous. Can I get a "hear hear"?)

1. What is your favorite Bible verse?

Without a doubt, I would have to say Romans 8: 37-39: "No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither life nor death, neither angels or demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the lobe of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

2. Would you sacrifice your life if it would save that of a strangers?

As a Christian, I know what is waiting for me on the Other Side. If I had the chance to save the life of another human, possibly one who doesn't know the Lord, I think I would. Maybe through my sacrifice, they will come to see the ultimate sacrifice Christ made.

3. Given the chance to swim with dolphins...would you accept?

Absolutely! Fish and deep water freak me out, but I'd brave it if it meant I could swim with dolphins. 

4. Are you more "Fascinated" by light or darkness? Why?

Shadows. Dark. Blackness. Shade. Every time I hear those words, I get a tingle. I am definitely more fascinated by darkness. Light illuminates, while the darkness hides, keeping you guessing at what secrets it's keeping. It's a mystery, and I love mysteries. 

5. Can you speak in a different accent?

I could keep up either an Australian or English accent for a few minutes (though one usually evolves into the other) and can say a few sentences in a Scottish or Cockney accent. 

6. Would you rather be disliked or forgotten?

If I was disliked for the right reasons, I would rather be remembered as the annoying pest who wouldn't shut up about Jesus, than the girl who didn't bother to raise her voice.

7. Has the ocean ever filled your dreams?

I once dreamed I was in a deep, deep lake, that had huge waves like a sea. It was bluer and clearer than the sky, set in sandstone beside a high cliff. It would have been a very serene dream if it weren't for the fact that I was drowning and woke up gasping for breath...

8. Assuming you have one, how often is your journal put to use?

Barely ever. Unless my soul is in tumult and my emotions are so jumbled all I need is to distract myself with writing, get my thoughts out on paper even if they don't make any coherent sense... Then, maybe. I just really stink at journaling. 

9. What is your favorite fictional character of all time?

No. No, no, no, no. I cannot answer this question. I have too many favorite characters--Eustace Clarence Scrubb, Bilbo Baggins, Hermione Granger, Prince Jaron, Percy Jackson, Puck, Sherlock Holmes, Henry York, Cyrus and Anitgone Smith. It's like asking me which is my favorite parent, or sibling, or memory. It's impossible to pick one. 

10. What is your favorite hymn?

Oh the Deep Deep Love of Jesus, On Christ the Solid Rock I Stand, Mighty Lord Extend Your Kingdom, As the Deer Panteth for the Water... And a lot more. :)

Monday Musings \\ Liebster Award

Susanna awarded me with the Liebster Blog Award (Thanks, Susanna!) Though, I can honestly say I have no idea what the Liebster award is actually awarded to people for...I think it's German for something nice?

1. What would you do If you had a whole day to yourself?

Make ice cream, do self-photo shoots, maybe make a movie, sing at the top of my lungs, clean a little, put on bright red lipstick, wear my comfy jeans and do my hair in a really weird hairdo. :D 

2. If you have a pet, what is your favorite way to spend time with them/it?

My family owns two dogs, a cat, some chickens, four pigs and two cows. All of them live outside. None of them have had a bath in a while. And I'm not really a animal person anyways...so...I don't do much with them. :-/

3. What's your favorite candy (bar) ?

KitKat or Snickers. :D

4. Would you rather have legs as long as your fingers, or fingers as long as your legs?

(Okay, first of all, can I just say that that is one of the coolest questions anyone has ever asked me? High-five, Susanna!)  Now, the question: Definitely fingers as long as my legs, that way I can still run. :D

5. What is your favorite movie?

Wow. Hard one....I can't really pick, so I'll say my favorite TV series: BBC's Merlin

6. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?

England, Italy, and New Zealand.

7. What is your favorite book?

Harry Potter 7, Percy Jackson 1, or Narnia 1. 'Fraid I can't narrow it down anymore. :)

8. What are you saving up for right now?

I'm not usually the "always buying clothes" type, but I fell in love with a certain leather jacket at Khol's and am hoping to save up enough for it, also N.D.Wilson's new book The Empire of Bones. Super-psyched!

9. Who is your favorite music artist?

I really like Of Monsters and Men and Andrew Peterson.

10. If you could meet anyone in real life, who would you meet?

Pippin from Lord of The Rings. :D <3

What made you decide to start blogging?

Well, I started when I was nine or ten, and just thought "Hey, my older sister's doing it, why can't I?" It never really became a big thing until I deleted two other blogs I'd had before and I created this one. 

 What is your fashion style?

Oh, hard question. I'd have to say pants, leather jackets, boots, and colorful skirts. And (I don't know if this goes in this category) but I really like bright hair highlights. 

 What is something none of your followers know about you?

Hm...I'm trying to think of something that isn't embarrassing....Oh, I know. Panda bears are my favorite animal. 

What are some of your blogging goals?

Encourage people in their writing and photography, and get at least 100 followers (which I'm so excited that I'm almost there! While I'm at it, I just want to say THANK YOU to all of you have followed me. I never thought I'd even get above 40 followers, let alone 90. Y'all are really awesome!)

Where is your favorite place to shop?

 Well, that depends on what I'm shopping for. For random things: Amazon.com. For books: Used book stores. For clothes: Kohls and thrift stores. 

What would your ideal amount of blog followers be?

Um, I don't know. Somewhere above 100. After that, it gets scary, if you know what I mean. :P But I probably wouldn't mind any amount. 

What are you talents?

 Um, because lots of people tell me I'm good at it: writing, poetry, and video-making.

Are you a leader or a follower?

I used to put myself out there as the leader, but once I started getting older, I've sort of just gone with the flow and followed. But, if people really aren't coming to a decision about something, I'll try to step up and give them a kick in the right direction. 

What is one of your favorite quotes?

Oo, hardest question of them all... I'd have to go with Romans 8: 38-39

Well, I'm not terribly stylish, dressy, graceful, dainty or fine, so I'm going to go with smart. :)

Roses, tiger lilies, and wildflowers.
